We wanted to change her to a Medicare Supplement so she could see some specialists that were not in her network. The problem was that she had a good chance of being denied because of her health conditions.

        After doing research, Roman told us my mom qualified for Guaranteed Acceptance because her Medicare Advantage plan had raised her ambulance copayment from $175 to $225 for the new year. I guess this change qualified her to get a Medicare Supplement without any underwriting. Wow – no one else told us this and we would have never know.
